CitP blog, 5-6-18,
wonderful day with Saints in the park!
What
a great day at Christ In The Park today!
Rogelio drove into the parking lot just before me. Dave and 1 other were already there. Wayne rode up on his bicycle soon. We got set up quickly, had the coffee pot on,
and one of Barbara’s egg/sausage casseroles ready to dish up. Soon we had several arrive, including Rick
and Abby who had led out last week when I was at a funeral for my son-in-law’s (Chad)
father, Jackie Graff.
Our
discussion this week focused on Ephesians 1:3, “I have been blessed with ALL
spiritual blessings!” What a great time
talking about Jesus and ALL He has blessed us with spiritually.
As
usual, other questions and issues came up, and the interaction was great. AND, God has brought one fellow who likes to
sing, a cappella. The joy of Jesus
flowed beautifully.
We
had a couple of personal sad notes: A friend of Dave’s that he had brought a
few times the past few months passed away last Monday. He had a brain tumor that eventually took
him. And, Rogelio shared a prayer
request for himself. He is having some
issues with his lower legs due to something with his diabetes. So, if you would join us in praying for the
Graff family, Dave and his friend’s family, and Rogelio…we would appreciate it.
And,
wow! Some friends from the past few
years, Bill and Dorothy, came to visit for the last 30 minutes. They were a great blessing!
Oh,
the weather was spectacular! FIRST TIME
since before December that we haven’t had to put up tarps and use the propane
heater! Can you believe it?!? Texas weather. No further explanation needed.
Well,
amen! I can’t wait to see what God is
going to do next week also…we will have to wait and see.
The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all,
Lee
