Christ, and Him crucified
Christ
crucified has the answer to every ill of mankind. How is that?
Think about it.
In Christ’s crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection we find the
atoning work of Christ. (“atoning work” –
the reconciliation of Lost man to God, redemption, His divine act of bringing
about salvation & the ceasing of God’s wrath toward Lost man).
Can’t His atonement lead folks to live in love and
peace with one another? Those whose sins have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and
are abandoned to God will live Lives of love, peace, and righteousness (actually Christ doing it through them). Those Saints will only seek the heart of God
in every aspect of life.
If ALL people
were like that, every public problem would be on the way to being solved…no
more hatred, no more “racism,” no more murder, no more theft, no more divorce,
no more …(name
it).
What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
Every Believer in Christ needs to understand and
accept & love “Christ, and Him crucified.”
And be “filled with His Spirit.”
